1459 Hollis Street

Built in 1864, the Benjamin Wier House is one of the few Rococo Italianate buildings in the Province. This three-storey building has many character defining elements such as a brick and sandstone façade with round headed windows contained in dormers and an original brick interior which provides an “old Halifax” feel. The reimagined courtyard presents an excellent opportunity for a large patio space in a more intimate, tucked away setting. This unique restaurant location benefits from the day time office population, the multi-residential density in close proximity and foot traffic provided by the brewery market and people exploring the waterfront.
